- Region: Veneto
- Vineyards: Selected hillside vines from Oltrepo Pavese, Italy (area located in the Pavia district of the Lombardia region). The vines are Guyot-trained system on “white” calcareous and marlstone soils.
- Winemaking: The grapes are harvested slightly over mature, soft pressed and vinified “in bianco” (or “off the skins”). Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Tasting Notes: Color: Lovely straw yellow. Bouquet: Ample and very intense with a fragrance of sage and ripe fruit. Taste: Soft and delicate on the palate with a persistent and lingering fruity finish that hints of musk (where the grape name comes from).
- Food Pairing: Ideal with appetizers such as prosciutto and melon along with soft cheeses, fresh and dried fruits, spicy foods and desserts.
