The time period is early 1900\'s in Tulsa, Oklahoma where two individuals, J.B Stratford and O.W Gurley, come together with a plan to purchase several blocks of land and sell them only to other black entrepreneurs. With their plan in motion, Black Wall Street is born. Creating well over 100 businesses from grocery stores, banks, theatres, restaurants, hotels, lawyer and doctor offices just to name a few. We also shed light on the dark events leading up to one of the deadliest, untold and unforgettable 12 hours in American History. The Tulsa Massacre beginning on May 31st 1921 and ending June 1st 1921.This play encompasses Hope, Unity and Resilience for a generation who understood how important it was to stand strong.
